Job summary

Penmac Staffing is seeking an Electrician for a full-time position with a manufacturing client. The role involves troubleshooting, maintenance, and working with automated equipment on rotating day and night shifts, with 8- or 12-hour shifts at $25.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• Certified Journeyperson Electrician with a valid Maintenance and Construction certificate.
• Minimum of 3 years of industrial electrical experience.
• Formal training in specialty areas such as PLCs, instrumentation, or related systems.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and code specifications
• Install, maintain, test, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical equipment
• Connect power to communication, signaling, heating, and cooling systems
• Inspect, repair, and replace wiring, conduits, feeders, fixtures, and electrical components
• Test electrical and electronic systems for continuity, voltage, current, and resistance
• Maintain and repair motors, generators, transformers, switchgear, storage batteries, and control systems
• Troubleshoot electrical and electronic control devices and replace faulty components
• Assist with preventive maintenance programs and continuous improvement initiatives
• Enter maintenance activities, work orders, projects, and downtime events into the CMMS system
• Support operations during emergency repairs and planned shutdowns
• Follow all safety standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)

Electrician - Industrial Maintenance (Full-Time) Penmac Staffing is hiring an Electrician for a full-time opportunity with a manufacturing client. This position offers $25.00 per hour and is available on 8-hour or 12-hour rotating day and night shifts. Requirements for the Electrician

• Certified Journeyperson Electrician with a valid Maintenance and Construction certificate
• Minimum of 3 years of industrial electrical experience

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Must possess or be willing to purchase the tools needed to perform the job
