Silgan Containers Mfg Corp in Rochelle, IL seeks an experienced Electrician to troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and modify electrical systems in a manufacturing facility. The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and preferred Trade School certification, with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in manufacturing.

You will read blueprints and schematics, install motors and panels, and ensure safety and documentation are up to date.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and modify all electrical systems in our manufacturing facility.
• Investigate mechanical, operational, or electrical issues and implement corrective actions.
• Perform maintenance, wiring, and installation of motors, switches, panels, fuse boxes, and power circuits.
• Test lighting systems and ensure electrical circuits are up-to-date and accurately documented.

Your Schedule

• 6pm to 6am 4 days on/4 days off
