Job summary

Novolex in Raleigh, NC is seeking a Maintenance Electrician to join our production team on 12-hour rotating shifts. Starting pay range is $38.40 to $45.18 per hour, plus a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities include preventative and reactive maintenance on production equipment, installation and repair of electrical systems, and supporting instrumentation and control systems. Qualifications

• Must pass an electrical aptitude test.
• Must possess excellent troubleshooting skills
• PLC troubleshooting experience and work with tension controllers are a plus.
• Computer usage and typing skills are essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
• Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
• Communicates effectively: conveys facts and information clearly both verbally and orally.
• Collaborates well with others: proactively contributes to group objectives; volunteers to help others.

• Work with AC & DC drives, instrumentation, transducers, and hydraulic/pneumatic controls.
• Understand and follow electrical code, manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specifications, using hand tools, power tools, and electrical and electronic test equipment.
• Tests electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistance.
• Conducts preventive maintenance programs and keeps accurate maintenance records.
• May install, maintain and calibrate industrial instrumentation and related devices as required.
• Assist and train production employees in proper operation and maintenance of machinery.
• Limited travel may be required.

Maintenance Electrician | Raleigh, NC | HIRING IMMEDIATELY

*$5,000 Sign On Bonus*

Starting Pay Range: $38.40 to $45.18 based on experience and qualifications*

Bonuses: $ 5,000 Sign-on Bonus*

Available Shift

12-hour shifts with rotating schedule

Day Shift: 7A-7P Night Shift: 7P-7A - Rotation between the two schedules is required
