Feather Falls Casino in Oroville, CA seeks an Electrician to maintain and repair commercial kitchen equipment, refrigeration units, bakery and beverage systems across the property. The role requires five years of relevant experience and a Class B gaming license eligibility.

You will troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventative maintenance while coordinating with maintenance leadership. The position is non-exempt, full-time, and reports to the Director of Maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum five years in kitchen, cooking, bakery equipment repair and refrigeration.
• Expert electrical troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Knowledge of reading blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to obtain a Class B gaming license.

Job Title: Electrician

Summary

Maintain and repair all commercial kitchen equipment, refrigeration units, cooking preparation, bakery equipment and beverage equipment of all makes and designs throughout the property. Some examples include ovens, meat slicers, mixers, refrigerators and freezers.

Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on all kitchen equipment in the building.
• Troubleshoot and repair kitchen and beverage equipment.
• Gas troubleshooting and repair.
• Move, lift and replace kitchen equipment as needed to complete repairs and maintenance.
• Maintain effective communication with management and co-workers when completing assigned tasks.
• Work under minimal supervision to complete tasks in a timely manner.
• Perform all other job duties as assigned.
• Recording and reporting any suspicious activity as defined by the Bank Secrecy Act (Title 31) and Feather Falls Casino Internal control policy Suspicious Activity Compliance Program.

Education and/or Experience

Education Level – High school diploma or equivalent is required
Experience – Five years of kitchen, cooking and bakery equipment repair and refrigeration experience is required. Must be an expert at electrical troubleshooting and repair. Must have universal or type 3 refrigeration license. Knowledge of multiple trades including plumbing, electrical and welding with the ability to read blueprints and schematics as necessary. Working knowledge of natural gas equipment controls, steam and electric kitchen equipment and industrial controls preferred.

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions while providing optimum guest service.
