Job summary

blueStone Solutions Group in Maryland is seeking an experienced Electrician to join a growing team. You will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings, following NEC standards and local codes.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years of experience, reads blueprints, and works safely with diagnostic tools. Journeyman or Master Electrician is preferred but not required; pharma GMP exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent vocational training.
• 3–5 years of experience as a commercial or industrial electrician.
• In-depth NEC and local building code knowledge.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Experience with electrical testing/diagnostic equipment.
• Journeyman or Master Electrician preferred, but not required.
• Pharma GMP exposure a plus.
• Experience with BAS and integrated controls.
• CMMS familiarity and OSHA certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair electrical systems per NEC.

What you'll be doing…

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, and equipment in accordance with the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on electrical components, including transformers, switchgear, and circuit breakers, to ensure functionality.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using advanced testing equipment to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
• Respond to emergency service calls and provide timely and effective solutions to minimize downtime.
• Collaborate with other trades within the facility, including boiler operators and HVAC technicians.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance, repairs, and material usage.
• Ensure all work is performed in compliance with company, client, and governmental safety regulations.

• At least 3-5 years of experience as a commercial or industrial electrician.

• Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS) and integrated controls.
• Knowledge of low-voltage systems, including fire alarm, security, and data/telecom.
• Experience working within a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.
