Job summary

Great Falls Public Schools is seeking a licensed Electrician to perform general electrical maintenance within the District's facilities. The role supports safety and code compliance and requires leadership in proper procedures and equipment use.

Expect 5 days a week, 8 hours daily, 260 days per year, with pay at $37.43 per hour and pension included. A valid Montana driver’s license is required for this position.

Qualifications

• Must hold State of Montana Journeyman license.
• Must hold City of Great Falls Journeyman license.
• Completed four-year electrical apprenticeship.
• Five years of experience as a journeyman.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Performs general electrical maintenance inside and outside the physical plant.
• Maintains buildings/equipment to meet safety/code requirements.
• Instructs personnel on proper procedure and use of equipment.
• Supports procurement/purchase as needed.
