Job summary

Silgan Closures in Evansville, IN is seeking an Electrician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems and production equipment to keep operations safe and reliable.

Requirements include a High school diploma or GED, a Journeyman's card or Electrician certification, and 3–5 years of manufacturing experience preferred; valid driver's license; ability to lift up to 50 lbs; working at heights may be required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years manufacturing experience preferred.
• Must be able to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, and twist for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Layout, install, inspect, troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and equipment across plant areas.
• Maintain and repair electrical fixtures, motors, panels and meters.
• Record maintenance and transfer information to blueprints.
• Perform duties in boiler room, roof, attic and other plant areas as needed.
