About the Role
We are seeking a licensed and experienced Electrician to join a growing renewable energy and residential electrical team. This position offers the opportunity to work on solar energy systems, battery storage installations, electrical upgrades, and service work while advancing your career in the clean energy industry.
The ideal candidate is safety-focused, customer-oriented, and experienced in residential electrical installations and troubleshooting.
Responsibilities
- Lead the installation of electrical systems that connect renewable energy equipment to residential utility power systems
- Ensure all work complies with current NEC requirements and local electrical codes
- Perform battery storage installations and electrical upgrades
- Troubleshoot system issues and resolve electrical concerns
- Safely complete Main Panel Upgrades (MPUs) and related service work
- Support homeowners with system repairs, upgrades, and maintenance needs
- Coordinate with inspectors and local authorities during project inspections
- Maintain high standards of workmanship, safety, and customer satisfaction
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Valid Electrical Contractor License, Journeyman License, Supervising Electrician License, Master Electrician License, or equivalent state-recognized certification
- Experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair
- Experience working with wiring up to 600 VDC and 480 VAC
- Knowledge of residential electrical services and distribution panels preferred
- Strong understanding of NEC requirements and safe electrical practices
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to pass a background check and motor vehicle record (MVR) screening
- Strong troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills
- Full-time position with open scheduling availability required
- Start and end times vary based on project needs
- Weekend work may be required as business needs dictate
- Employees report directly to assigned job sites
- Projects are generally located within a 70-90 mile service area
