Job summary

New Belgium Brewing Company is seeking an experienced Electrician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems across brewery operations including Malt Handling, Brew House, Cellar, Packaging, and utilities.

The role requires 3rd year electrical apprenticeship minimum, HS diploma, and 2–5 years of related experience. Preference for experience with sanitary equipment and power systems like generators and UPS.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and 2–5 years’ experience or equivalent training.
• Must be 3rd year electrical apprentice minimum.
• Electrical trade school participation required.
• Experience with sanitary process equipment is a plus.
• Knowledge of EM backup generators, ATS controls, UPS systems and motor controls is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots electrical/controls problems.
• Installs and maintains new electrical/controls systems.
• Provides on-call response and support for anomalies and failures.
• Inputs, records, and coordinates EAM data.
• Contributes to design and implementation of new electrical/controls systems.
• Participates in administrative duties as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems throughout the brewery, including Malt Handling, Brew house, Cellar, Packaging and utilities.Essential Duties:• Troubleshoots electrical / controls problems.• Installs and maintain new electrical / controls systems.• Provides on call response and support for anomalies and failures• Inputs, records, and coordinates EAM data• Provides input into the design and implementation of new electrical / controls systems• Participates in administrative duties as needed• Other duties as assignedEducation/ Experience/Skills:• High School Diploma and 2 to 5 years’ experience and/or equivalent specialized training and education• 3rd year Electrical apprentice minimum• Electrical trade school participation required• Developed working knowledge, skills, and abilities in electrical matters• Developed working knowledge, skills, and abilities in industrial construction/process, electrical controls, and instrumentation matters• Developed experience with sanitary process equipment desired• Developed experience in Flash PPE and ratings, electrical PPE, and LOTO• Developed knowledge in EM backup generators, ATS controls, UPS systems, and motor controls• Developed skills and abilities related to controls / instrumentation mattersWage information is provided in compliance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act and is Bell’s and New Belgium's good faith and reasonable estimate of the compensation range and benefits offered for this position.
