Job summary

Eanes Heating & Air in Clemmons, NC is seeking a Licensed Electrician with residential experience to join our growing team. HVAC experience is preferred, but not required for this role.

You will troubleshoot, diagnose, install and repair electrical components in a residential setting, maintain tools and safety equipment, and travel to job sites with dispatch to keep schedules on track. A valid electrical license and 5+ years of experience are required; continued education is encouraged.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of electrical experience in residential settings.
• Must possess an Electrical License and be willing to pursue CE.
• Knowledge of local electrical codes and practical application on jobs.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, install and repair electrical components in homes.
• Provide excellent customer service.
• Maintain stock, tools, and safety equipment in the vehicle.
• Travel to job sites and coordinate with dispatch to avoid delays.
• Obtain customer authorization for payment at job completion.
• Meet or exceed performance and sales targets.
• Assist customers in evaluating repair vs replace options.
• Schedule replacement consultations as indicated.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, install and repair electrical components in a residential environment
• Provide excellent customer service
• Maintain proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment in the vehicle
• Travel to job sites in your service area, and work with dispatchers to ensure the schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated to the customer
• Obtain customer authorization/signature for payment (or financing) at the completion of the job
• Meeting predetermined targets and sales goals
• Assist customers in evaluating repair vs. replace options
• Assist in generating and scheduling replacement consultations (as indicated)
• Meet or exceed performance minimum standards

Job Requirements

• 5+ years of electrical experience
• Electrical License
• Must be willing to pursue, develop, and participate in continuing education.
• Experienced in residential service preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of local electrical codes and the ability to apply them in a practical manner on each job.
• Must be able to work with inspectors, suppliers, and co-workers to ensure correct project work, while abiding by all codes.
• Possess and maintain a valid and clean driver's license.
• Willingness to work overtime and "on-call" shifts as needed
• Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds.
