Job summary

Eanes Heating & Air is seeking a Licensed Electrician with residential experience to join our growing team in Jamestown, NC. HVAC experience is preferred, but not required.

This full-time role involves diagnosing, installing and repairing electrical components in homes, with travel to service areas and coordination with dispatch. Candidates should have 5+ years of electrical experience, an electrical license, and a willingness to pursue ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of electrical experience.
• Electrical License required.
• Must be willing to pursue, develop, and participate in continuing education.
• Residential service experience preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of local electrical codes and ability to apply them on each job.
• Must be able to work with inspectors, suppliers, and co-workers to ensure correct project work and compliance with codes.
• Must possess and maintain a valid, clean driver's license.
• Willingness to work overtime and on-call shifts as needed.
• Able to lift up to 100 pounds.

• Provide excellent customer service


• Maintain proper stock, parts, tools, and safety equipment in the vehicle


• Travel to job sites in your service area, and work with dispatchers to ensure the schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated to the customer


• Obtain customer authorization/signature for payment (or financing) at the completion of the job


• Meeting predetermined targets and sales goals


• Assist customers in evaluating repair vs. replace options


• Assist in generating and scheduling replacement consultations (as indicated)


• Meet or exceed performance minimum standards

Job Requirements

• 5+ years of electrical experience


• Electrical License


• Must be willing to pursue, develop, and participate in continuing education.


• Experienced in residential service preferred but not required.


• Knowledge of local electrical codes and the ability to apply them in a practical manner on each job.


• Must be able to work with inspectors, suppliers, and co-workers to ensure correct project work, while abiding by all codes.
