Zusammenfassung

PTC is seeking an electrician to support the Chicago Heights facility. The role involves inspecting, repairing, installing, and maintaining electrical equipment in a challenging steel mill environment.

You will read schematics, work with PLC systems and VFDs, and handle daily work orders while upholding safety and quality standards. A GED or high school diploma plus electrician training and 3–5 years of experience are required.

Qualifikationen

• At least 3–5 years of hands-on electrical experience in commercial/industrial settings.

• Work with PLCs and VFDs; troubleshoot controls and electrical systems.

• Adhere to safety guidelines and quality management system.

Experience with PLC systems and variable frequency drives (VFD) a plus.Shift work, weekends, call-outs and overtime a must.Perform any and all other duties as directed by supervisor or management representative within safety guidelines.Performs work in accordance with the defined Quality system and share responsibility for Quality.The incumbent is expected to understand that all employees have a shared responsibility for the quality of products and related services provided to our customers.
