Job summary

PTC Alliance in Chicago Heights, IL is seeking an Electrician to maintain and repair electrical systems in a steel mill environment. You will read schematics, operate PLCs and VFDs, and ensure safety and quality in production.

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret schematics, drawings and technical specifications.
  • Work with 230/460/600 V AC and 250 DC mill controls and overhead cranes.
  • Operate and troubleshoot PLC systems and VFDs.
  • Work rotating shifts, weekends, call-outs and overtime as needed.
  • Adhere to quality management system and safety guidelines.
