PTC Alliance in Chicago Heights, IL is seeking an Electrician to maintain and repair electrical systems in a steel mill environment. You will read schematics, operate PLCs and VFDs, and ensure safety and quality in production.

Inspect, repair, replace, install, adjust and maintain all electrical and electronic equipment in a steel mill environment.2. Experience and Capable of working with 230/460/600 volt AC & 250 DC mill controls and overhead cranes.3. Ability to read, analyze, interpret and perform work from schematics, technical specifications, drawings and sketches. Experience with PLC systems and variable frequency drives (VFD) a plus.4.
