Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical in Chester, VA, seeks a full-time Electrician to perform electrical tasks under general supervision and interpret construction drawings.

You will terminate cables, install control wiring from drawings, monitor work in progress, and ensure safety policies are followed; travel may be required. The company offers a 401(k) plan, medical-dental-vision coverage, disability and life insurance, paid holidays, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• 4 years recent commercial electrical field experience.
• OSHA 10 or ability to obtain.
• Successfully pass pre-employment background check and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Performs all electrical tasks with general supervision.
• Reads and accurately interprets construction electrical drawings, terminates cables, installs and troubleshoots control wiring from drawings.
• Monitors work in progress and reports variances in a timely manner.
• Completes other duties as directed by supervisor.
• Travels may be required.
• Complies with all safety policies and procedures.
