Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical is seeking a full-time Electrical Helper to join our team in Chester, Virginia.

The role supports commercial electricians with material handling, conduit and wire installation, and wire pulls while adhering to safety policies. Ideal candidates have 3–4 years of commercial electrical field experience, a High School Diploma or GED, and OSHA 10 or the ability to obtain.

Qualifications

• 3 to 4 years recent commercial electrical field experience.
• High School Diploma/GED.
• OSHA 10 or ability to obtain.
• Successfully pass pre-employment background check, and MVR check when responsibilities require operating motor vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Assists commercial Electricians by performing various tasks and material handling.
• Properly mounts and installs assigned work conduit, wires, and strapping as directed.
• Assists in wire pulls and other duties as directed by supervisor.
• Works from all types of ladders.
• Complies with all company and customer safety policies and procedures.
• Travel may be required.
