Job summary

Transworld Electric is expanding its commercial electrical team in Charleston, SC and seeks skilled electricians who install, maintain, and troubleshoot complex systems on commercial projects. You will read prints, run conduit, install panels and transformers, and coordinate with other trades to ensure safety and quality.

We value strong problem-solving skills, reliable transportation, and the ability to work with limited supervision. OSHA certification is preferred; a license is not required.

Qualifications

• Commercial electrical experience.
• Ability to perform journeyman-level work with limited supervision.
• Experience with conduit, terminations, panels, transformers, and three-phase power.
• Strong print-reading, layout, troubleshooting, and time-management skills.
• Industrial experience or experience leading crews is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 is preferred.

Responsibilities

Pay: $30–$40 per hour, based on experience and responsibility

Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday

We are expanding our commercial electrical team and looking for experienced electricians who work safely, solve problems, and deliver quality installations.

What You’ll Do

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot commercial electrical systems
• Run conduit, pull wire, and complete feeders and terminations
• Install panels, transformers, disconnects, lighting, and other electrical equipment
• Read prints, perform layout, and work from project specifications
• Follow electrical codes and coordinate safely with project teams and other trades
• Support occasional industrial, maintenance, testing, or commissioning work as needed

What We’re Looking For

• Commercial electrical experience

Schedule and Travel

• Standard 40-hour workweek with eight-hour shifts, generally starting between 7:00 and 8:00 AM
• Overtime is available but not guaranteed and may be required for certain projects or shutdowns
• Occasional travel may arise but is generally offered to employees interested in traveling
• Lodging and meal per diem are provided for qualifying out-of-town assignments

Pay and Benefits

• $30–$40 per hour based on experience and responsibility
