Job summary

ASC Process Systems, Inc. is seeking an entry-level assembler to build and wire electrical panels and components for industrial equipment.

You will follow electrical drawings to lay out, install, and test assemblies, including wiring breakers, relays, motors, and sensors, and you will run conduit and mount enclosures on various systems. You will gain hands-on experience in testing, learn the National Electric Code requirements, and travel to customer sites as needed to complete installations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of general clerical experience.
• Experience in manufacturing and familiarity with Quality Control concepts is preferred.
• Good verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Must be assertive and ensure others conform to ASC’s quality standards.
• Type at least 30 words per minute; proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Assemble electrical panels per drawings and assemble electrical components.
• Follow electrical drawings to lay out, build, install and test components on equipment.
• Install/wire circuit breakers, relays, switches, motors, pumps, and other components.
• Run conduit, pull wire and mount enclosures on industrial equipment.
• Perform electrical continuity tests on 24V panels.
• Travel to customer sites to run wire and install components.

Job description

• This is an entry-level position where employees will use electrical drawings to build panels modify electrical enclosures fabricate racks bend conduit and layout and assemble electrical components.
• Follow electrical drawings to lay-out build install and test electrical components on autoclave ovens and other industrial equipment.
• Install/wire circuit breakers terminal blocks transducers relays switches motors pumps fans valves thermocouples lights and other electrical components.
• Run electrical conduit pull wire and mount enclosures on industrial equipment.
• Perform electrical continuity tests and testing on 24V panels.
• Learn and perform all work in accordance with the National Electric Code.
• Travel to customer's sites to run wire and conduit and install electrical components Demonstrate compatibility with ASC's stated Team Values that include working safely having a positive attitude leading by example showing an eagerness to learn being a team player working efficiently and focusing on producing quality work.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
