Steel Dynamics, Inc. through its New Millennium Building Systems platform is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Electrician to support our advanced manufacturing operations.

This role focuses on keeping production lines running safely and efficiently by troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems and equipment. You'll work nights on 3rd shift with occasional 2nd shift crossover, read schematics and ladder logic, and handle 480V three-phase and low-voltage wiring.

Qualifications

• Proven electrical troubleshooting skills in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Ability to read and understand schematics and technical diagrams.
• Familiarity with PLC-controlled equipment.
• Willingness to work night shift and occasional crossover between shifts.
• Strong commitment to safety and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical wiring, controls, PLCs, and motor drives in an industrial manufacturing environment
• Work with and maintain equipment such as overhead cranes, safety scanners, and light curtains
• Read and interpret schematics, ladder logic, and PLC programs
• Perform 480V three-phase wiring, low-voltage wiring, and other electrical work
• Support a strong safety culture by following all electrical and lockout/tagout procedures

Your Schedule

• Primarily 3rd shift coverage
• Occasional crossover with 2nd shift as needed
