Job summary

Ecobat is hiring a skilled electrician to install, repair, and maintain complex electronic and electrical systems. The role requires troubleshooting, program design, and reading electrical schematics to ensure safe, efficient operation.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED, 5 years of industrial electrician experience, and proficiency with meters, voltage probes, and hand tools. Night shift work is required, with an additional $1.50 per hour.

  • Ability to use meters and voltage testing equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Environmental and safety training as applicable.
  • EMS ISO 14001/9001 awareness preferred.

  • Install, repair, and maintain electronic and electrical systems.
  • Troubleshoot, replace, and repair electrical components.
  • Design and maintain PLC programs.
  • Use meters, probes, and testing equipment for diagnostics.
  • Interpret electrical prints and schematics.
  • Comply with environmental, health, safety, and housekeeping programs.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Position Description

The purpose of this position is to install, repair, and maintenance of electronic and electrical systems.

Responsibilities
  • Use mobile equipment as necessary (forklift, man-lift, electric cart).
  • Performs troubleshooting, replacement, and repair of electronic and electrical systems.
  • Designs and maintains programs for programmable controllers.
  • Uses conduit benders, hand tools, multimeters, amp probes, and voltage testing equipment.
  • Able to interpret and work from electrical prints and schematics.
  • Complies with all environmental, health, safety, and housekeeping programs.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Pre-Hire Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Formal training in electrical theory
  • 5 years experience as an industrial electrician
  • Able to use tools such as meters and voltage testing equipment
  • Able to read and interpret schematics
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and walk. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk and hear; and work at heights. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts and is frequently exposed to extreme heat. The employee occasionally works in high precarious places and in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud. Employee must be able to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Searching for candidates who can work the graveyard shift which is from 11pm to 7:30am.

Will pay an additional $1.50 per hour for working night shift.
