Job summary

Bally's in Biloxi, MS is seeking an electrically skilled technician to perform repair and preventive maintenance on motors, starters, breakers, and related equipment across the property. You will install wiring for renovations, respond to work requests from several departments, and keep detailed maintenance logs.

The role requires reading blueprints, maintaining lamps, assisting other areas, and adhering to safety and department policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or better.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Background in electrical training from a recognized institution.
• Electrical license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical repair and maintenance to motors, starters, breakers, and related equipment throughout the property.
• Install electrical wiring for renovations, outlet additions, motors and equipment.
• Respond to work requests from departments.
• Perform preventive maintenance and maintain logs for electrical equipment.
• Maintain lamps and sockets, including replacements.
• Complete electrical setups for exhibits and conventions.
• Maintain a clean and safe electrical shop and work areas.
• Order and receive materials related to areas and maintain inventory.

Job description

• Performs electrical repair and maintenance to motors, starters, breakers, and associated equipment throughout the entire property.
• Installs electrical wiring for renovations, electrical outlet additions, motors and associated equipment.
• Responds to work requests submitted by various departments.
• Performs preventive maintenance to all electrical equipment and maintain logs.
• Assists other areas in repairs.
• Maintains knowledge of property information and memorabilia.
• Adheres to department and property policies and procedures.
• Maintaining all lamps in the hotel, including socket repair and replacements.
• Completes electrical set ups for exhibits and conventions including maintaining electrical equipment for exhibits.
• Maintains good housekeeping in electrical shop and work areas.
• Orders and receives materials related to areas and maintain orderly inventory.
• Must have basic mathematical skills. Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
• Maintain flexibility to handle changing priorities.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
