Job summary

Tharp Consulting in the United States is seeking a Plant Electrician to ensure the safe and reliable operation of plant electrical systems. Responsibilities include performing repairs, inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenance on electrical, controls, instrumentation, HMI, and HVAC systems.

You will support capital projects, manage work orders, and develop preventive and predictive maintenance plans to minimize downtime and support continuous production.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of experience or related education in industrial electrical or maintenance fields.
• Valid US driver's license.
• Ability to work on elevated surfaces with fall protection.

Skills needed encompass electrical repairs, mechanical aptitude, process controls understanding, and interpreting the National Electric Code. Experience with PLC automation, control systems, and journeyman electrical license are a plus.
