Responsibilities
- Advanced capacity to read, interpret and understand wiring schematics.
- Use of tools and hands‑on applications to construct standard, custom, or semi‑custom control panels.
- Work with the production team and engineering team to improve existing processes.
- Adherent to 5S + Safety standards.
- Strive to maintain the project delivery schedule set forth by Project Management and Shop Foreman.
- Execute complex controls and mechanical assemblies, including electrical chassis and cable construction.
- Adhere to stringent quality standards, the customer and UL Certification requirements.
- Follow strict inspection and testing procedures during final product disposition and finishing process.
Requirements
- Ability to assemble, wire and install electrical control panels in line with electrical codes.
- Ability to read electrical blueprints and schematics.
- Ability to determine correct wire sizes, wire crimping, and termination.
- Ability to wire high voltage systems; Basic PLC programming and configuration for integration into control panels.
- Ability to identify issues such as faulty wiring, etc.; Proficient in using multimeters, oscilloscopes, continuity testers, etc. to diagnose electrical issues.
- Ability in repairing and replacing components, rewiring faulty connections.
- Minimum of 3 years of electrical wiring experience.
