Job summary

Milacron in Batavia, OH is seeking an Electrical Wirer to build and wire panels for machines and subassemblies in accordance with layouts and wiring diagrams. You will interpret electrical drawings and ensure quality workmanship in a fast-paced shop environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining safety standards, participating in lockout/tagout, and collaborating with engineering to improve processes and products.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent preferred
• 3+ years of related experience or training; or equivalent combination
• Basic computer skills

Milacron is looking for an Electrical Wirer to join our team in Batavia, OH. In this position, you will be responsible for building and wiring panels for machines, equipment and their subassemblies following layouts, electrical circuits, and other written and verbal specifications.

Work You’ll Do

• Read, comprehend, and interpret wiring diagrams.
• Set the department / area standards in housekeeping, attendance, and teamwork by example.
• Communicate any discrepancies or errors on prints, materials list etc.
• Recognize problems during assembly, take appropriate corrective action to resolve them.
• Produce quality work in a time frame that meets the expectation of the Team/Group Leads.
• Complete Lockout / Tag out training using all required items when performing Lockout.
