Job summary

Milacron is seeking a Field Service Technician to join our team in Texas/Oklahoma. You will install, maintain, and repair plastic injection/extrusion equipment at customer sites, troubleshooting hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems, and interfacing with customers to minimize downtime.

Willingness to travel and 100% travel with weekends at home is typical; a $3,000 sign-on bonus, per diem, and a company vehicle support field service operations.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in industrial electricity, electronic engineering technology, or related field, or equivalent training/experience.
• 2+ years of experience with hydraulics, mechanics, or similar skillsets.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Willingness to travel and work overtime as necessary.
• 2+ years of experience with plastic injection/extrusion equipment or similar machinery.

is looking for a Field Service Technician to join our team in Texas/Oklahoma. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing quality installations, maintenance, and repairs of plastic injection/extrusion equipment. Breakdowns will require troubleshooting of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical components and circuits.

Work You’ll Do

• Troubleshoot and repair plastic injection/extrusion equipment
• Perform schedule preventative maintenance activities on equipment
• Effectively interface with customers in repairing equipment as needed
• Evaluate and make recommendations regarding required repairs
• Install computer software programs to manufactured machines

Qualifications

• Associate degree in industrial electricity, electronic engineering technology, or other related field, or equivalent training and experience
• 2+ years of experience working with hydraulics, mechanics, and/or similar skillsets
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
• Willingness to travel and work overtime as necessary
• 2+ years of experience working with plastic injection/extrusion equipment or similar types of equipment or machine tool
• Mechanical, electrical, machining, and hydraulic circuit skills
• Ability to reach mechanical blueprints and electrical schematics
