Job summary

ESI Electrical Contractors, Inc. is seeking an entry-level BIM/CAD specialist to create and manage detailed 3D models of electrical systems using Revit, AutoCAD MEP, or Navisworks.

You will translate 2D layouts into constructible content and support prefabrication. Responsibilities include clash detection, model updates with field AS-Built conditions, and generating shop drawings and fabrication sheets for onsite teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; drafting courses required.
• 1–2 years technical training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create 3D models, shop drawings, and fabrication drawings for electrical systems.
• Use Navisworks or similar to identify and resolve conflicts between trades.
• Translate design intent into constructible models and assist field teams with 3D views.
• Generate detailed shop drawings and 2D installation drawings from the 3D model.
• Update project documentation with field AS-Built conditions.
