Job summary

Industrial Power Solutions is seeking a VDC Engineer with BIM and electrical knowledge to produce high-quality, constructible electrical shop drawings and coordinated models for field installation and project execution. The role focuses on construction-driven VDC and drafting, not design engineering.

Responsibilities include creating underground and aboveground conduit layouts, equipment layouts, and installation drawings, while using Revit and AutoCAD to validate routing and generate production

Qualifications

• 2 to 7 years of experience in VDC drafting or construction documentation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain positive working relationships with project team members.
• Produce high-quality, constructible electrical shop drawings.
• Model conduit systems and electrical equipment in Revit; use AutoCAD for detailing.
• Prepare submittal packages and track review comments.
• Develop RFIs and provide field support; incorporate approved changes.
• Conduct thorough self-checks to ensure contract document alignment and standards.
