Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience as an Electrical Test Technician or in a comparable role.
  • Strong problem-solving instincts and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with test equipment and related tools common to an electrical lab.
  • Prior experience working with 480V systems.

Responsibilities

  • Execute electrical tests on components and systems to verify specifications and compliance.
  • Set up and operate bench equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, and power supplies for repeatable, accurate results.
  • Analyze outcomes, interpret data, and record findings with clear, complete documentation.
  • Work closely with engineering to troubleshoot issues discovered during testing and drive resolution.
  • Keep the lab organized and safe, following established safety protocols at all times.
  • Contribute ideas to improve and refine test procedures and methodologies.
  • Engage in training to stay current with emerging technologies and testing techniques.

Step into a Day in 44202, OHYou arrive at our test lab in 44202, OH, power up the bench, and queue the next build. Oscilloscopes hum, multimeters zero out, and the first set of components are ready for validation. By mid-morning, you’ve executed a series of compliance checks, captured clean waveforms, and documented precise results for engineering review. After lunch, you partner with design engineers to chase down an anomaly, isolate the root cause, and refine the procedure so the next run is even better.
