Job summary

A leading staffing agency is seeking an experienced Electrical Utility CAD Drafter/Designer for a long-term contract role based in Oak Brook, IL. The successful candidate will assist the design team with electrical drawings for high-voltage substations, design electrical control panels, and update wiring diagrams. Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and RasterCad is required. Candidates should be familiar with electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and drawing management systems, contributing to diverse project needs in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with AutoCAD and RasterCad is essential.
• Proficiency in working with electrical drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Knowledge of drawing management systems is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with electrical drawings for high-voltage substations.

Responsibilities

• Assisting the design team with theElectrical drawings for the design and upgrade of high-voltage substations.
• Design layout and detail of electrical control panels
• Make changes and updates with current electrical drawingsand wiring diagrams for power stations.

Qualifications

• AutoCAD
• RasterCad
• Ability to navigate withinDrawing Management Systems.
• Familiar with point-to-point wiring diagrams, flow charts, and terminal blocks.
