The Electrical Training Facilitator provides classroom and laboratory instruction to prepare participants for entry‑level employment and apprenticeship opportunities in the electrical trade. Responsibilities also include managing the electrical training lab, maintaining equipment and inventory, supporting safety practices, and ensuring instructional readiness.
This position requires an ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, lift, reach up, stoop, and carry items occasionally in excess of twenty‑five (25) pounds. Physical skills required include the ability to lift heavy boxes and materials, to move equipment from room to room, and to work for extended periods at a computer station. It also requires manual dexterity to operate standard office machines, such as, copier, fax, telephone, and other equipment as necessary. IRSC expects its employees to follow proper safety standards while employed by the College.
