Job summary

Vertiv Corporation is hiring a Testing Team Coordinator in Pelzer, SC to lead day-to-day operations in the electrical testing area. This role ensures safe, efficient, and accurate testing of electrical equipment by managing workflow, supporting test stations, and resolving issues impacting productivity or quality.

The Coordinator troubleshoots test failures, adheres to testing procedures, and collaborates with Engineering and Quality to drive timely issue resolution and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 4+ years of manufacturing experience with exposure to electrical assembly or testing.
• Experience leading, training, or coordinating a team is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain continuous flow of electrical testing by identifying and eliminating bottlenecks.
• Support and fill in at electrical test stations (functional, high-voltage, system testing) as needed.
• Ensure all testing is performed in compliance with safety standards and procedures.
• Troubleshoot and assist in diagnosing electrical and functional test failures.
• Escalate recurring or complex issues to Engineering, Quality, or leadership as appropriate.
• Verify test equipment is operational, calibrated, and ready for use.
• Monitor test output, cycle times, and first-pass yield to meet production targets.
• Identify material, wiring, or component issues impacting test performance.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues quickly.
• Drive adherence to workmanship standards, documentation, and testing protocols.
• Support Lean initiatives and continuous improvement efforts within the testing area.
• Promote a strong safety-first culture around electrical hazards.
