Job summary

Fresh Consulting is seeking an Electrical Test Technician in Costa Mesa, CA to support long-term contract work. You will set up tests, build harnesses, and analyze results, contributing to automation and reliability efforts.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in electronics testing within R&D, with strong schematic-reading skills and experience with oscilloscope-driven measurements. Travel to sites may be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years electronics testing experience in an R&D environment.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Familiarity with device reliability, life-cycle, and compliance testing.
• Proficient with test equipment including scopes, generators, power supplies, DAQ, sensors.

Responsibilities

• Set up, run, and analyze tests; record results.
• Build test harnesses, racks, and environmental setups.
• Improve automation and coverage per engineering direction.
• Troubleshoot and repair electronics down to component level.
• Calibrate and maintain test equipment; document plans and manuals.
• Travel to test sites and external labs as needed.
