Qualifications

• IPC-610 or equivalent certification.
• Micro-electromechanical systems associate’s degree or higher.
• Experience with ESD control program.
• Ability to interpret blueprints/shop drawing aids.
• Excellent attendance and pass pre-employment checks.

Responsibilities

• Inspects and tests completed units to ensure functionality and adherence to product specifications.
• Identifies failure points and collaborates with supervisor and solder repair technicians to troubleshoot units.
• Communicates test procedure concerns with supervisor.
• Applies fundamental electrical concepts to diagnose unit failures.
• Reads PCB schematics and assembly drawings.
• Follows step-by-step work instructions to complete tests on a variety of products and records accurately.
• Uses test equipment such as multimeters, power supplies, and oscilloscopes and reports any equipment malfunctions to supervisor.
• Maintains accurate test records and documentation.
• Maintains a clean and safe work area by participating in 5S practices.
