Job summary

Select Source International is looking for an Engineering Technician in New Berlin, WI, to coordinate and perform laboratory activities essential for compliance with design verification requirements and industry standards. The role involves supporting product development, maintaining test environments, and performing essential engineering activities.

The ideal candidate should have a degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering and relevant hands-on experience, including proficiency in compliance testing and laboratory equipment operation. This position offers the potential for extension beyond an initial 12-month duration.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of relevant experience with an Associate degree.
• Minimum two years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s degree.
• Familiarity with client products is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support design engineers with development activities.
• Execute product and prototype testing according to specifications.
• Prepare and maintain accurate test reports and documentation.
• Troubleshoot and repair electronic and electrical circuits.

Skills

Hands-on experience performing UL, CSA, and IEC compliance testing

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications

Solid understanding of engineering theories and techniques

Education

Associate degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related discipline

Tools

Laboratory test equipment

Digital multimeters (DMMs)

Oscilloscopes
