Job summary

Vertiv Group Corporation is seeking an Integrated Solution Test Technician to support development of our Integrated Solutions product lines. The role focuses on testing, troubleshooting, and inspecting complex electrical systems, using diverse test equipment to ensure quality before handover.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in electrical industry, with ability to read electrical standards and travel to customer locations if needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associates degree preferred.
• 1–2 years experience in electrical industry, troubleshooting electrical systems, commissioning and handover of switchgear.
• Ability to safely follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain attitude toward reliability, safety, quality and productivity as a unified goal.
• Perform testing and maintenance of electrical systems up to 480v.
• Test instrument transformers, power transformers, ATS, generators, power meters, and circuit breakers.
• Troubleshoot relays, calibrate, and use load/power quality instrumentation.
• Test and troubleshoot complex electrical systems and power metering.
• Write detailed test reports and record results for test booklets.
