Job summary

Vertiv in Pelzer, SC seeks an Integrated Solution Test Technician to support development of its Integrated Solutions product lines. You will perform testing and maintenance of electrical systems up to 480V and generate detailed test reports.

Requirements include a High School Diploma or GED, with 1–2 years of electrical industry experience; an Associates degree is preferred. Occasional travel to customer locations may be required and safety training will be provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school level education with electrical experience.
• Associates degree preferred in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 1–2 years of electrical industry experience and testing experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain positive attitude toward targets regarding reliability, safety, quality.
• Perform testing and maintenance of electrical systems up to 480V.
• Conduct transformer, switchgear, and power metering tests.
• Troubleshoot relays, calibrate instruments, and use power quality instruments.
• Read and interpret electrical standards and document results.
• Travel to customer locations as required and participate in training.
