Advantage Technical is hiring an Electrical Test Technician in Arden Hills, MN to support a leading R&D and engineering team. This temporary, onsite role involves hands-on work with electrical test equipment and data collection.

The ideal candidate has electronics testing, lab, or manufacturing experience and will set up fixtures, operate test equipment (DC/AC supplies, power analyzers, DMMs, oscilloscopes, generators), and document results to assist engineers on schedules.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of electronics/electrical/test technician experience.
• Hands-on experience operating electrical test and measurement equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical testing using established procedures, work instructions, and test protocols.
• Set up test fixtures, prototypes, and laboratory equipment.
• Operate and troubleshoot electrical testing equipment: DC/AC power supplies, power analyzers, DMMs, oscilloscopes, function generators, electronic loads, data acquisition systems.
• Accurately collect, record, and document test results.
• Identify and communicate test issues and equipment concerns.
• Support engineers with testing activities and project schedules.
• Maintain a safe, organized laboratory environment and follow safety requirements.

Electrical Test Technician

Location: Arden Hills, MN

Pay Rate: $36.48/hour

Schedule: Onsite Position

We are hiring Electrical Test Technicians to support a leading R&D and engineering team in Arden Hills, MN. This temporary opportunity is ideal for candidates with electronics testing, laboratory, manufacturing, or engineering technician experience who enjoy hands-on work with electrical test equipment and data collection.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform electrical testing using established procedures, work instructions, and test protocols.


• Set up test fixtures, prototypes, and laboratory equipment.


• Operate and troubleshoot electrical testing equipment, including:

• Associate degree in Electronics Technology or a related field preferred.


• Medical device, laboratory, or R&D testing experience is a plus.


• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship requirements.
