LayerZero Power Systems LLC. in Streetsboro, OH is hiring a Test Technician I for 1st shift. The role focuses on pre-power inspections, functional and burn-in testing up to 600VAC, and assisting with troubleshooting power and control circuits.

Strong documentation and safety practices are required. The candidate will set up programming for electronic devices, complete test reports, and work with various test instruments in a hands-on environment.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent military electrical training or 2+ years in electrical testing in power systems.
• Hands-on testing of electrical/electronic equipment and use of test instruments.
• Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings.

Responsabilités

• Perform pre-power up inspection for testing readiness.
• Conduct functional testing up to 600VAC; inspect and test equipment.
• Perform burn-in and stress testing for reliability.
• Troubleshoot AC/DC power and control circuits up to 600V.
• Assist with repairs on control, power, and fiber optic assemblies.
• Program electronic devices using computer-based tools.
• Prepare test reports and documentation.
• Use hand tools and test equipment to complete tasks.
• Follow testing procedures and work instructions.
• Work independently on routine tasks and report complex issues.
