Job summary

LayerZero Power Systems LLC is seeking a detail-oriented Test Technician I for on-site work in Streetsboro, OH. You will implement test methods, operate various test instruments, and document results for new and existing products.

Responsibilities include pre-power checks, functional tests up to 600VAC, burn-in, and troubleshooting power/control circuits. Strong reading of schematics and precise reporting are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent military training in electrical tech.
• 2+ years of electrical test experience preferred.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Proficient with standard hand tools and measurement equipment.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-power up inspection for test readiness.
• Conduct functional testing up to 600VAC and basic tests.
• Perform burn-in and stress testing of equipment.
• Assist troubleshooting of AC/DC power and control circuits up to 600V.
• Support wiring, crimping, and routing of assemblies.
• Set up and program devices using computer tools.
• Complete test reports and maintain documentation.
• Follow established procedures and work instructions.
• Work independently on routine tasks and report complex issues.
• Perform physical tasks including standing, bending, and kneeling.
