Job summary

IEM seeks a Supervisor of Test and Inspection to lead daily testing and inspection activities in our San Antonio facility. You will ensure UL conformance, coordinate with production, and drive quality across test areas.

Responsibilities include mentoring technicians, maintaining calibration-ready equipment, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. This is a 100% in-office role with temporary relocation in NE San Antonio before our Brooks site opens.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or certification preferred, or 5 years of experience in a relevant manufacturing field.
• At least 2 years of supervisory or team-lead experience in testing/inspection.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily activities of Test Technicians and Inspectors across product lines.
• Ensure adherence to UL standards and customer specifications during testing.
• Oversee testing processes (hipot, megger, torque checks, functional tests).
• Train and mentor team members on procedures and safety practices.
• Coordinate with Production, Engineering, Project Management and Materials to resolve test issues.
