Job summary

Raytheon seeks a Test Equipment Engineer to design, develop, and integrate test systems and interfaces for aerospace products. You will work across electrical, mechanical, and software teams to enable effective testing and qualification of units under test.

The role requires hands-on engineering in lab and factory environments, advanced tool proficiency, and the ability to secure U.S. government clearance. On-site work with competitive benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM and 5+ years of relevant experience, or advanced STEM degree and 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience with electrical engineering design, troubleshooting, analysis, and test.
• Experience with schematic capture tools and interpreting schematics.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance; U.S. citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate test equipment products within multi-discipline engineering teams.
• Develop engineering and production test systems, test interface adapters, cabling, technical drawings, schematics, and circuit designs.
• Perform electrical design, analysis, troubleshooting, and test across digital, analog, RF, mixed-signal, and electrical interconnect systems.
• Support analysis activities such as power analysis, RF chain analysis, and error budget analysis where required.
• Select and integrate test instruments and environments to support units under test and evolving test configurations.
• Contribute to all stages of test product development while managing assigned technical, cost, and schedule responsibilities.
• Uncover, troubleshoot, and resolve issues associated with development, integration, and implementation of test products.
