Job summary

Vectrus, Inc in Indianapolis, IN seeks an Electrical Engineer to join the Test Engineering section of our Hardware Engineering team. The role involves design, repair, and maintenance of test equipment for a military hardware production and depot environment.

The candidate should have 8+ years of electronics experience, be proficient with bench top test gear, and skilled at reading schematics and HW/SW integration. Travel may be required and US citizenship with clearance eligibility is needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of electronics experience with strong technical background.
• High degree of experience using bench top test equipment (DMM, Oscilloscope, Function Generator, Signal Generator, Frequency Counter, Power Meter, Spectrum Analyzer, Network Analyzer).
• Advanced ability in reading and generating schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Proven ability to analyze and simulate hardware testing methods prior to program execution.
• Experience with HW/SW integration and test processes.
• Advanced MS Office skills (Word, Excel, Visio, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Ability to interface with multiple disciplines and roles including test software engineers, electrical engineers, mechanical engineers, and management.
• Detail oriented, self-starting, capable of multi-tasking and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Support implementation of new production and repair processes for military hardware.
• Provide technical support for assemblers and inspectors on the production floor.
• Assist in generating technical documents such as test procedures and process instructions.
