WaveCrest Staffing Group is seeking an Electrical Test Engineer II to support design, assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of advanced test equipment for electromechanical medical devices. The position is based in Irvine, CA and onsite five days a week.

The role requires 3+ years in electrical/test engineering with hands-on hardware & software experience, and familiarity with test equipment. Preference for PCBA/PLM/ERP experience and medical device familiarity.

• Hands-on experience with hardware and software.
• Experience using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Electrical Test Engineer II

Location: Irvine, CA

Contract: 12 months - Good extension or conversion potential

We are seeking an Electrical Test Engineer II to support the design, assembly, testing, and troubleshooting of advanced test equipment used in the manufacturing of electromechanical medical devices.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in electrical/test engineering
• Hands-on experience with both hardware and software
• Experience using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and logic analyzers
• Strong electrical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Preferred

• PCBA design, manufacturing, testing, and troubleshooting experience
• Experience with Windchill, SAP, or similar PLM and ERP systems
• Experience with automated test equipment or medical devices

Must be available to work onsite 5 days/week in Irvine, CA.
