Job summary

Saronic Technologies, a leader in autonomy at sea, seeks an Electrical Test Engineer to design and execute electrical test plans for complex electromechanical systems. You will develop automated test equipment, scripts, and fixtures, and collaborate across electrical, mechanical, firmware, and manufacturing teams to ensure robust validation before release.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in electrical test engineering, hardware validation, or related role.
• Working knowledge of the engineering design lifecycle and verification processes.
• Experience using electrical lab instrumentation and measurement techniques.
• Experience developing or maintaining automated test scripts (Python, LabVIEW, or similar).
• Strong troubleshooting skills across analog, digital, and power electronics systems.
• Ability to work effectively in cross‑functional engineering environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute structured test plans in accordance with the engineering design process (requirements → design → verification → validation).
• Translate system and subsystem requirements into test cases and procedures.
• Perform electrical verification testing at board, subsystem, and system levels.
• Execute functional, regression, environmental, and reliability testing.
• Document test procedures, results, and deviations clearly and accurately.
• Support root cause analysis and troubleshooting of electrical failures.
