Qualifications

• The candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with 2+ years of experience.
• Strong background in circuit analysis, design and testing.
• Experience with semiconductor devices, passive components, relays, transformers, and related circuitry.
• Experience with schematic design, PCB layout, and circuit simulation tools.
• Hands-on lab experience with oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers.
• FMEA experience and documenting design & test results.
• Knowledge of UL/IEC60730 is preferred; 61508 is a plus.
• Experience with EMI, EMC and thermal testing is beneficial.
• Soldering skills to build/modify prototypes; able to work cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Design, prototype and test electronic circuits for Flame Scanners & Combustion Control products.
• Design & test products to meet UL/IEC60730 and FCC requirements.
• Create design documentation, FMEA, test requirements and design verification reports.
• Ensure products meet quality, cost and development & test timelines.
• Collaborate across Hardware, Firmware & Design Validation Test teams.
• Work with Product Management, Project Managers, Procurement, Quality & Production during development.
• Support sustaining and value engineering design & test efforts.
