Job summary

RTX’s Operations Engineering Test Specialist Co-Op in Andover, MA offers hands-on experience in a complex manufacturing environment. You’ll learn manufacturing processes, contribute to innovative solutions, and work on projects across performance excellence, test and troubleshooting, and production engineering.

As an Electrical Test Engineer, you will support on-site teams, develop Six Sigma projects, and gain exposure to various business areas.

Qualifications

Pursuing a Bachelor or advanced degree in electrical, computer or systems engineering.
Experience with project execution.
Experience with Microsoft Office tools.
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance is required.
U.S. citizenship is required for security clearance eligibility.

Responsibilities

Perform data analysis of test results to identify trends and opportunities for process improvement.
Provide production floor support to address process and compliance issues.
Work with electrical test equipment (oscilloscopes and multimeters).
Utilize Microsoft Office (VBA programming).
Experience with digital and electronic circuits.
Facilitate cross-functional teams for improvement activities (e.g. Six Sigma, lean manufacturing).
Use Pareto analysis, cause/effect diagrams, process mapping, and other performance analysis tools.
