Job summary

Eaton is seeking an Electrical Test Engineer to join the CPDI OPS division at the Raleigh, NC facility. This on-site role requires working within a 50-mile radius and offers a salary range of $71,000 to $105,000 annually.

The engineer will design, implement, and maintain automated test systems and fixtures for manufacturing, with emphasis on quality and efficiency. Responsibilities include test procedure development, data collection, and advanced troubleshooting of test equipment.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical testing and designing automated test equipment.
• Knowledge of test methodologies, fixtures, and test data collection.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 and Lean manufacturing concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy computer-automated test systems and processes for manufacturing.
• Develop and maintain test programs, fixtures, and supporting equipment.
• Conduct fault analysis and contribute to FMEA improvements.
• Train operators on test processes and maintain documentation.
• Lead continuous improvement of test processes and participate in capital projects.
