Job summary

Eaton’s CPDI OPS Operations division is seeking an Electrical Test Engineer for an on-site role at our Raleigh, NC facility. Relocation assistance is not available for this position. Only candidates in the immediate geographic area (50-mile radius) will be considered.

The Electrical Test Engineer will design, deploy, and maintain computer-automated test systems and supporting equipment. You will develop test programs, fixtures, and procedures, and provide advanced troubleshooting of test

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering or Engineering Technology from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 1 year experience in electrical testing or automating test equipment.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship; relocation not offered.

Responsibilities

• Specify, design, build, debug, validate and deploy computer- automated test systems and processes for manufacturing.
• Develop and implement complete test plans based on product knowledge and test methodologies.
• Develop or improve functional test equipment and procedures and associated sub-assembly fixtures.
• Conduct fault insertion and analyze test coverage; provide feedback for FMEA and troubleshooting.
• Train operators and drive continuous improvement for all test processes.
