Electrical/Technology Project Engineer

Location: Peoria, IL

We are seeking an Electrical/Technology Project Engineer to support the Technology group within our Engineering Design Center. The role focuses on client‑focused, highly motivated engineering in a fast‑paced, multi‑disciplinary environment.

Key Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related technology field (required)
• Licensed Professional Engineer (P.E. – Electrical) is preferred
• 5‑10 years of experience designing integrated security, communications and other low‑voltage systems for Federal, Justice/Public Safety, K‑12, Higher Education, Healthcare, and Commercial markets
• Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast‑paced team with multiple deadlines
• Ability to coordinate work across multiple disciplines
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Autodesk CAD and Revit platforms

Responsibilities

• Conduct site visits and field inspections of low‑voltage systems
• Lead low‑voltage technology design for a variety of project types
• Produce drawings and specifications for low‑voltage disciplines including security electronics and telecommunications
• Perform construction administration: review shop drawings, respond to RFIs, and work with contractors to ensure systems comply with contract documents
