JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

The Construction Education department is seeking a positive, supportive, and dynamic Electrical Instructor to teach a diverse community of learners. Preference will be given to candidates who are committed to student success, equity, inclusion and the use of the classroom experiences to enhance workplace understanding and performance. Responsible for teaching a full range of electrical coursework in the Electrical Apprenticeship Program.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

8 years full-time related occupational experience or approved Journeyworker status. OR 4 years full-time related occupational experience and an Associate’s degree in career field. OR 2 years full-time related occupational experience and a Bachelor’s degree in the discipline or in a related discipline.

Minimum Pay $0.00 Compensation will be commensurate with the level of the position, education, and experience.

Compensation: $580 per Equivalent Credit Hours (ECH). May include day, evening and/or weekend classes and will involve travel to other campuses.

A teaching demonstration is required as part of the interview process. Hiring process includes passing a background check.
