Job summary

Bastian Automation is seeking an Electrical Technician to support robotics and material-handling systems. The role focuses on wiring mechanical assemblies, reading electrical schematics, and setting up junction boxes with motors/PLCs, while maintaining safety and quality in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include teamwork with Lead Electricians, configuration validation, and assisting with troubleshooting of electrical panels and related systems.

Qualifications

• Relevant electrical experience required
• Proficient with reading and interpreting schematics
• Familiar with low, medium, and high voltage electrical machinery/systems
• Positive attitude and ability to handle tense situations
• Onsite electrical test may be given to assess skill set
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Read schematics/electrical prints to conduct wire up, junction box setup, and other electrical assembly duties
• Work as an individual and within a team
• Follow efficient manufacturing practices and safety protocols
• Coordinate with other Electrical Technicians and Lead Electrician
• Provide feedback on prints and redline when appropriate
• Assist with troubleshooting electrical panels and related tasks
• Support electrical manufacturing projects as needed
• Maintain professional conduct and keep work area orderly
